The Grove on 4647 Swenson St

First and foremost, if you are a marijuana consumer and don't live in a place where recreational consumption is legal, Vegas will blow your mind. That said, the Grove is great. Have your Id ready, as it's mandatory for entry. Once you're called in, you enter the waiting room where there is a scrolling menu on the wall to give you an idea of the treats that await you. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable, they will explain the different strain types for the uninitiated, so you know what you're getting. The variety of products is vast, no matter your consumption choice. I'll shop here again on my next Vegas vacation, unless I'm staying next door to another dispensary.

There is good and bad at this dispensary. The good is that it’s a nice facility, they carry great products, they were friendly...but there was one thing that knocked the score back to a 3 star. The bud tender showed me a list if ingredients that the cannabis growers use in their products. She said, look at all the pesticides this grower uses. When I read the list, none of it was pesticides. They were inputs the grower puts into the soil. Bacteria and fungi for the soil food web and yes, some chelates nutrients, but no pesticides that I saw or very few. When I confronted her on that she pulled back immediately. I’ve been growing for 16 years, I knew exactly what was on that this. It was being portrayed as dangerous when in fact it was not. I didn’t like that. If you have an opinion on a product, that’s great. But to say a product is harmful when it isn’t, is straight deceitful. Just educate yourself on the different brands and don’t trust that everyone has your best interest at heart.

The parking lot sucks cause it's right next to a bar and I don't like how you have to sit in a waiting room until you go back to the room where you can see everything. Other than that the people are cool and they have their own line of in house grown strands that aren't expensive.
