I am Actually Autistic. ASD Severity level 2. I have a photographic memory and an inability to always communicate EFFECTIVELY. The secretary on the phone lied and told me it was $50 for a renewal but it was really $65. (I live on a fixed budget, knowing I needed to save money for my renewal I called in advance to ask how much I would need.) The doc was nice and helpful. No problems there. However, the secretary told me no one would have told me that price. I must be mistaken. (Always the customers fault!) The doc told me to call back if I had problems with my card. When I called to ask a simple question concerning the status of my card. (I didn't know the doctors office couldn't help me) The secretary insisted I was wrong and no one would have told me that. I asked why she thinks I would be lying to her. Then the secretary proceeded to educate me on how and why I was wrong. She tried to go on a rant about how others are confused about it and causing her too much grief over something that I was clearly told not to do. (I worked retail for 10 years. If people are confused about a policy or procedure, then maybe it is confusing or they are being given wrong information.) I only wanted to know whom to call and what to do about getting my card, so I stopped her mid rant and told her I don't care if others are being mean to her, but I do not deserve to be treated like a liar and talked down to like a child. That's when she hung up on me and has ignored all of my phone calls since. I was finally contacted by the Manager of the RGreenleaf and reassured they will be looking into what happened. FYI, Autism Spectrum Disorder prevents me from communicating effectively. What was the secretaries excuse? I can't help it, I am a real life "Shelden Cooper" from the Big Bang Theory television show. I can't help but be me. For a doctors office secretary to act so childish and immature was traumatic for me. I have PTSD with ASD. There are no proven methods of treatment for the two. Doctors are only starting to realized that PTSD is presenting differently in people with ASD. What is traumatic to you is not the same as it is to me. I spent all day in an Autistic Communications Meltdown because of her lack of professionalism. The only way I was able to calm down and sit still was to write this review as way to ADVOCATE for myself. I will still go to RGreenleaf for my medication but I will never use the Docs services ever again. The Doc was nice if you can get passed his horrible secretary.

If your trying to renew your medical card your better off going someplace else. Have called the doc here several times and left messages as requested by recording, have never got a call back.
