Wonderful place. The staff there are very educated in the cannabis industry. Would be my first recommendation for sure. Only downside being that the price for little rechargeable battery packs for their extraction vape pens are insanely high. As it was $50 for the battery and usb charger. When compared to being able to get a temp control lithium ion vape mod for same price and is miles higher in quality and style. Battery packs comparable to one they carry can be found for no more than $5-10 feel like I got ripped off

I was blown away by the service I experienced, largely as proxy, when I visited this cozy little (i.e. NOT cramped) shop for the first time, which was I believe a week ago tomorrow. I don't smoke weed or the like, simply don't enjoy the high at all for whatever reason, but I was hanging with a friend who needed to get some but was nervous about making her first "legal" (-ish!) pot purchase, so I went along as moral support. We went in, the girl behind the counter (pretty sure her name was Cherry) was fantastic, easily handling our opening barrage of info requests right out of the gate, gave detailed explanations while using least-stressful terms about how the system currently works re: pot et al, answered every q with confidence/cool, and what struck me the most about that the entire time was how naturally she maintained the highest respect for us, which I believe is absolutely critical in a (relatively) new industry that, for the time being at least, probably deals more often than not with people struggling with any of a huge number of mental illnesses great and greater (allegedly, some are small). I haven't even mentioned their product yet... Like I said, it's not my thing, but the varieties I was able to get a look at were shockingly beautiful. And it's really inexpensive, we walked out of there with a lot for $10, she didn't need more for a cpl days. If you need weed, but you are unsure of what to do to get it, or if you're having any trouble getting yourself out the door to get it cuz you're a bit worried about having to jump thru those goddamn hoops the govt always leaves lying around the stuff that will help you, then I recommend Westcoast Medicann.

Been to a lot of dispensaries in the area and this place definitely is #1 in my books for cleanliness, service, and product. If you value a clean, safe environment with a bud-tender who actually knows what they are talking about, hit this place up. Also, if you are new to cannabis I would argue this is the best spot in Vancouver to start with.

What is a Cannabis Dispensary?

A cannabis dispensary is a retail store which sells cannabis products and accessories. Since the early 1990's, cannabis dispensaries have existed in the United States. The first dispensary was opened in California, and since then, the nation has been progressing towards cannabis reform. Now, there are thousands of cannabis dispensaries, and more on the way as laws in the United States change towards legalizing medical and recreational cannabis.

Most dispensaries carry a variety of different kinds of flowers and buds. The flowers will range from sativa to hybrids of all sorts to indicas, and depending on state, test results letting you know the percentages of THC, cannabinoids and terpenoids as well as ensuring the quality of the flowers. In addition, dispensaries carry a variety of other cannabis products such as prefilled vape cartridges, concentrates such as waxes and oils, as well as a multitude of other cannabis products like lotions and tinctures.
