Bodystream Medical Cannabis Clinic - Peterborough on 53 Hunter St E

Terrible experience when it came to filling the prescription. The office staff communicated the wrong dosage verbally over the phone and then refused to accept responsibility for the screw up. My daughter almost ended up in the hospital. The highest possible THC containing dosage was communicated when it should have been the lowest. This is a drug and should have been communicated in writing as prescriptions are. My daughter was left traumatized and out of pocket.

Great place , great people. As long as you have the proper documentation there shouldn't be any problem whatsoever.

Bodystream Medical Cannabis Clinic - Peterborough on 53 Hunter St E

A wonderful experience. Two weeks after my first visit, I was seeing a doctor. 24 hours after my appt, I was placing an order for delivery. Completely legally. I wish all doctors appointments were this efficient. I would recommend to anyone.

Bodystream Medical Cannabis Clinic - Peterborough on 53 Hunter St E

Initial appointment was fine but intrusive, made it feel like it was still illegal and we were being scrutinized. 2nd appointment (3 month) changed doctor from Jan Bothma to David Mohomed who offered me 5 grams a day and after did not listen to anything I was telling him about with chronic pain how the oil was some what helping but much to weak to go off the opioids but he was to busy filling out the billing to Heath Canada to hear anything. Six month appt was cut down to 1 gram a day by David and he said if I didn't buy the full amount of my prescription (about $4,000 so far with credit card problems now)(you can quickly go through lots of credit with these over priced dispensaries) I was using about 3 grams a day and he was upset with me not buying my maximum allowed. I was warned at the next appt if I didn't fulfill my amount I would be cut off and have my licence cancelled. I was quite upset and the girls tried to calm Us both (yes he screwed us both over) and there were several other return patients with the same problem as myself so they made another appointment for Us both a week later and at this appt with a different doctor AGAIN this one limited me to 15% THC which rendered my licence USELESS for almost 4 months. Tweed asked me if there was a problem and I let them know, they said there are other licencing LEGAL places to get your prescription. It has been a great pleasant experience to deal with my new licencing location, no peeing in a bottle but you do have to pay the visit out of pocket. I think what Bodystream is doing is over burdening our already over burdened Heath Care System and having two appointments in one week is double billing as far as I can see. Health Canada should be looking into this sneaky practice! How many were brought back to TWO appointments?? David also asked me at one point if I had a cannabis (the one in the 3 month assessment tried to give me another gram per day?) problem, Yes I DO,. The prices should be about tops say $5 a gram and Bodystream should hire Doctors hat believed in this as a medicine not just grab East Indian doctors who are not afraid of licencing issues. The two new doctors in my new location are very pleasant to deal with, they listen and access what the medical problems and issues are and spend as much time with you to make sure that you are happy and well looked after. I will not add who My new licencing place is because when I let Bodystream know about another licencing location right inside a hospital was opening and somehow their licencing was cancelled stating they had complaints that they had practiced without being on Health Canada's list so they were cancelled from the program. The girls have all the pressure on them as they stated from Barrie's head Office and basically their hands are tied. They actually both believe in this as a medicine which it before stupid laws were passed was a item in every doctors kits(I mean the real doctors not the I fill out billing instead of patient needs and requirements.) I would stay away fro Bodystream and their kick backs from dispensaries like Medreleaf who has product off some ones front lawn. Worst provider ever. Tweed is great for whats allowed in THC content for their Oils, broken coast is great for their dried bud and Tilray grows about the best dry product that we have tried and they listen and care about the patients they are servicing. Note both are West coast suppliers not restricted like Ontario's stupid grow laws. Just shows again those in power have no idea of what is going on or how proper product is produced. No Wonder the Mom and Pops grows illegally are doing so well, they don't have a high bay lighting restriction, that is so retarded and the waste in hydro is a LAW that all should hang their heads in shame writing. Why can't We do this Properly HEALTH CANADA??

What is a Cannabis Dispensary?

A cannabis dispensary is a retail store which sells cannabis products and accessories. Since the early 1990's, cannabis dispensaries have existed in the United States. The first dispensary was opened in California, and since then, the nation has been progressing towards cannabis reform. Now, there are thousands of cannabis dispensaries, and more on the way as laws in the United States change towards legalizing medical and recreational cannabis.

Most dispensaries carry a variety of different kinds of flowers and buds. The flowers will range from sativa to hybrids of all sorts to indicas, and depending on state, test results letting you know the percentages of THC, cannabinoids and terpenoids as well as ensuring the quality of the flowers. In addition, dispensaries carry a variety of other cannabis products such as prefilled vape cartridges, concentrates such as waxes and oils, as well as a multitude of other cannabis products like lotions and tinctures.
