I didn’t enjoy my experience working here after nearly two years. I’m not going to state company secrets or name anyone below. These aren’t secrets or things that I signed up for or that should even apply to any job. Personally I didn’t like that the more difficult jobs (labour/greenhouse) were paid less as apposed to easier tasks paying more. (You can see these wages on their job listings on Indeed for example.) Sometimes I would be appointed by a supervisor to go and assist different job roles who make more than me in that sector and I would not be paid the same wage for it. Sometimes I would be helping for over a month.. I stayed late to help with other sections jobs and later told If I wanted to apply for that role I helped with I would need university experience and certain qualifications for it, but that was not an issue for them when they needed my assistance and willingness to stay late to help. I have given doctors notes for injuries and to have a custom job there while the current issue gets fixed, that never happened. Instead I tried to work the same jobs making it worse, until I had to go and find an easier job at my own will, by myself. At one point I was being directed to go help another group in the building for almost a month, and that person who told me to took me into the office to ask ME why people are coming up to this person asking why I am aloud to do that even though that person appointed me to do the job....to act like this person never sent me to do these jobs when they did... further more it then seems as if it’s my fault for going to different areas.. I am only doing what I’m told to. All it really caused me was drama and much more over time. I enjoyed all of my employees and their awesome radiating vibes everyday, they are really what made working there, great. If you like long hours and are dedicated to making money and working in the marijuana industry go for it.

I do have to agree with Brian Perich about Aphria that is hiring, a positive and professional staff, etc. There is no guarantee of employment and I am pretty sure that it is like that in almost everywhere. Good luck with the results Brian. Other than that, it is growing much faster than those produce wholesalers that are currently out in the county.

The worse cannabis you can get in Canada. The CEO and his staff have 0 clue of what they are doing. Getting hype by buying their way through. If they would listen to their green house staff they could become better, but unfortunately they mean nothing to the higher staff. Dont buy here, there's a lot better.

Aphria is hiring in Leamington, Ontario. Visiting this facility in person, the staff seem positive and professional about their roles and opportunities for advancement. Applying to Aphria doesn't guarentee employment, I am still waiting for results from their human resources. The company now conducts on-site group orientation and individual interviews. Aphria also used Temp Agencies for their employee recruitment, the recruitment process wasn't professional using third party Personnel by Elsie agency in Windsor. The packing positions offer higher than minimum wage to start, opportunity for advancement to other internal posted positions after several months proven employment. Packaging or Greenhouse labour are their entry level opportunities. Still waiting for Human Resourses to get back with interview results. Company is growing.
