How do I sum up an amazing experience filled with warmth and hope? I shall try. First, let me start with this for those not in the know, you don't need a doctor referral to visit here. You can call and schedule an appointment which runs about a month in advance at the time of this writing. (No insurance will cover anything to do with marijuana at the time of this writing in regards to covering a prescription cost or the doctor visit.) This is the key----have your medical records with you and/or contact Ohio Marijuana Card and they will send you a release form through email to sign electronically that you will fill in the doctors you've visited and allow OMC (Ohio Marijuana Card) to retrieve your records from them for you. My doctors wanted to charge me for my records but would fax them for free to another doctor. (Don't wait till the last minute, give them a week or two to fill this request, though some of my doctors never did send in my reports, you have to be vigilant on this matter on making sure your doctors get your records faxed to OMC.) You need PROOF, plain and simple. You telling the Ohio Marijuana doctor you hurt won't do anything. As of now there are 21 conditions Ohio allows a marijuana certified doctor to write a script for and you will need to be able to prove your condition with medical data. This means you NEED to already have been diagnosed and have that data to BRING to the OMC doctor. The OMC doctor is not a doctor to see for getting tests, replacing your own doctors, etc, the OMC doctor will REVIEW your already documented medical history and then decide if you do or do not qualify to be prescribed medical marijuana. YOU bring all your data from your history to the OMC doctor and THAT is what gives them the information they need to determine if you qualify to be approved for a marijuana script. I have about 8-9 doctors I've seen for a barrage of tests and recorded data over the years that I had for my intake. I brought a book sized amount (no joke) of my personal medical records from multiple doctors for evidence, documentation, and charts (x-rays, MRI scans, etc) for the OMC doctor to make the best informed decision to view my situation. That is what you need, medical documentation and the more you have the more I feel it will benefit your case by giving the OMC doctor a better documented picture of your health. My personal experience with OMC was a welcoming environment where ALL of the staff was friendly and informed! Every employee was eager to help and had a smile on their face. I visited Dr. Duhamel and I would describe her as an empathic, caring human being who listened attentively to my history without scorn and I felt I had her complete, undivided attention during the entire consultation. I would easily recommend Ohio Medical Marijuana for anyone who is interested in looking into learning more about medical marijuana. As a patient the only advice I can recommend is BE PREPARED! Have your medical records! Document, document, and more documentation is the key! Good luck in your health journey and you're in great hands with the staff at Ohio Medical Marijuana! :)

The entire process was straightforward and extremely simplistic. The doctor and contact representatives were professional every step of the way. Once my appointment day arrived, I felt more than prepared. Doctor Cornell was thorough and helpful throughout my appointment. He assisted me with the concerns I had about Marijuana and made sure the appointment did not conclude until I had all of questions answered. Overall, my experience was excellent and completely deserving of five stars.
