Cannabis Control Commission on

Typical bureaucracy, slow and more focused on making sure everyone gets their cut than obeying the will of the voters. Canada voted to legalize and began legal sales in under a year, here in Mass it's been over 2 years since we voted and still no shops open. The CCC's inability to function, I have no doubt, has led people to learn to grow their own and say "no" to what will surely be an over-taxed product.

Unelected bureaucrats hired by the Baker administration, who’s purpose is to put on so many regulations and delay the process that should have been done already. Furthermore, if you want to obtain a medical marijuana card you must go to back alley doctors pay 200.00 then in six months pay another 100.00 to these doctors I order to keep your card active. This is just sad that someone who needs this medication and does not have large sums of money needs to go through these several hoops. It should have been placed in package stores where they are trained to handle the proper distribution of alcohol already. Medical should be prescribed through your primary not through shady doctors who do not know the patient. Baker messes this one up from top to bottom. The only way a person can deal with this mess It to either not vote for Baker or blank him on the ballot.

An absolute sham of a commission. More than 2 years since voters made it legal and 3 months since shops were legally able to sell marijuana, there is still 0 shops open to sell to the public. Meanwhile, other legal states have had shops open within a year of it being voted to be made legal. DO YOUR JOB AND QUIT STALLING!

It's astonishing how little interest this Commission has shown in satisfying the will of Massachusetts voters. There is clearly no effort at all to move the cannabis/marijuana industry out of the hands of the unregulated black market and provide retail products to the people who voted to legalize. There's obviously no oversight of the Commission, either, or pressure to make them do their jobs.

Wow. The entire country of Canada has legal marijuana tomorrow in less than a year AND an online store to purchase with a MANDATE to have 40 stores open within 6 months. All in about a year. Massachusetts? 4 licenses approved (?) after 2 years to already legal and operational outfits and they STILL AREN'T OPEN FOR BUSINESS. Everyone on this commission should be aware that your future in gov't has been decided by your inability/reluctance to adhere to the law that was was passed in Nov. 2016. No other rollout in our country or the next has had these delays tactics and poor management and stunted attitudes as you have displayed. You've made a mockery of Mass legislative processes.

What is a Cannabis Dispensary?

A cannabis dispensary is a retail store which sells cannabis products and accessories. Since the early 1990's, cannabis dispensaries have existed in the United States. The first dispensary was opened in California, and since then, the nation has been progressing towards cannabis reform. Now, there are thousands of cannabis dispensaries, and more on the way as laws in the United States change towards legalizing medical and recreational cannabis.

Most dispensaries carry a variety of different kinds of flowers and buds. The flowers will range from sativa to hybrids of all sorts to indicas, and depending on state, test results letting you know the percentages of THC, cannabinoids and terpenoids as well as ensuring the quality of the flowers. In addition, dispensaries carry a variety of other cannabis products such as prefilled vape cartridges, concentrates such as waxes and oils, as well as a multitude of other cannabis products like lotions and tinctures.
