Maine Hydroponic Supply continues there long history of providing the highest quality service and products to the cannabis community with the grand opening yesterday of their new retail caregiver shop Sensi Sensei. Unlike the sterile fortress like feel of “insert name here” dispensary , in this space , patients are directed to an inviting sanctuary above the grow shop. After a short climb you arrive at what feels more like an Asian temple than a retail facility. There is at once a great sense of calm and welcome that embraces you as you enter. Here, warm orange walls and clean hardwood floors will greet you and knowledgeable patient staff invite clients in to browse the collection of beautiful glassware, and the numerous strains of organically grown premium Cannabis, and house made edibles and tinctures. I was impressed with the little clear plastic display boxes they provided for each strain. These clever devices allow you to smell the bud on display , plus are equipped with a small magnifying glass to more closest examine bud formation. Upon entering the store I was presented with a tiny Chinese take out box. Taped to the outside was a very nice glass one hitter, and inside a generous sample of one of the proprietary strains , Sky Walker. I was told by the staff that each week there will be different give aways for patients. I sampled the Sky Walker later , and as a long tine cannabis snob was very impressed with how incredibly smooth this product was. Obviously this flower had been grown with much love and care, hand trimmed and patiently dried and cured. Anyone can grow cannabis but it takes real talent and knowledge to grow great cannabis. I will be back and encourage you to do the same. Sit for 5 minutes and just enjoy the beautiful space they created here and if you’re lucky a beautiful geisha girl will bring you a glass of cool cucumber water and a free sample.
