I want to say thank you to The Healing Clinic for all their help and assistance. I got my card roughly 2 weeks ago, and has helped a lot so far. They made the process simpler and less intimidating, and I am happy I made that initial call to The Healing Clinic.

I highly recommend going to the Healing Clinic if you plan on getting your medical marijuana card. I made a 3 hour trip from the galena area and I was not disappointed. I went in for my first appointment and it was very quick and painless. I was worried about having to schedule my next appointment as it is pretty hard for me to get out there being as I live very far and I work full time but I was spending the night with some family so they scheduled me an appointment the very next day so I didn't have to make another 3 hour trip. They were very helpful, VERY kind and I was pleasantly surprised on how professional the office was. They also complete the entire application process for you which is one less thing to worry about. I was also very happy when they gave me papers that introduced other natural ways that can help keep my Crohn's symptoms in check. You don't feel judged and overwhelmed. All together they made the process very simple for me and I've been recommending them to friends and family. My grandma is planning to schedule an appointment there soon! Definitely worth the drive. :)

So Disappointed. I spoke to gary after sending the healing clinic an email desc my situation. I was called back and was given all the answers to my questions and given a appointment a week after. Thrilled. I was worried about my financial situation but after asking questions i was reassured i could afford the trip to visit the healing clinic. In the end i asked if i still had to pay for the first visit for $150 if i didnt get approved. Gary said you have scoliosis its def a spinal cord injury. So you are already pretty much approved. I was thrilled. I thought to myself finally someone to help me rid this pain. It would help me do everything legally so that i wouldnt have to suffer in silence anymore. Im a mother of a 4 yr old and cant even carry her anymore . I cant sweep or mop without feeling so much discomfort. I wanted a natural remedy and was hoping this would be the place to help me. Instead i was seen by the dr. Who asked questions mostly about my hands and legs. When all of my pain is centrally located on my actual back. He told me scoliosis wasnt enough to be approved for the program. I was shocked. And mortified. I walked out of the room directionless and with no help in alternatives. I was dismissed after they had already taken a picture of me and already emailed me the registeration link for the program. After fumbling to gather pieces of my dismissal nobody apologized. Nobody cared. They just let me leave. Im grateful the visitation was free. But aside from feeling lost and embarrased i was so disillusioned. I just hope they inform there staff to not get anyones hopes up over the phone. It was just wrong.

As a long time sufferer of a spinal cord injury that I received as the result of a car wreck some nine years ago. I have dealt with a considerable amount of pain over the years that it has dampened my quality of life, to the point where I felt this route was worth considering after spending thousands, upon thousands of dollars on doctors, meds, therapist, etc. I have undergone two rounds of bilateral facet joint injections, therapy, have taken medicine for pain, muscle spasms, etc. This includes using various patches, creams, lotions, therapist, and have had little success. I feel constant pain, tightness, numbness, tingling, and have suffered various issues with my stomach as a result. I have multiple herniated disc, a grade one spondylolisthesis, synovial cysts, three-disc herniation's that I know of, a compromised spinal canal, and gastritis/ polyps in my stomach. It’s been tire some none the lease. I came across The Healing Clinic shortly after the passage of the medical marijuana pilot test program. I was always concerned upon the social impacts of approaching this route, but after learning of the healing capabilities of marijuana, and its byproducts. I figured I'll give it a shot. The process is intimidating, lengthy, and confusing. However, thanks to The Healing Clinic they took the difficulty out of this process for me. They were very professional, polite, understanding, compassionate, and were extremely diligent to both federal, and state laws throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend The Healing Clinic and all of its staff. All the way from the doctors to the patient advocates. The staff at the THC are so ever knowledgeable, and are extremely professional on the subject matter. Today is the first day of hopefully a better way of living. Thank you once again to The Healing Clinic. I would highly recommend anyone living with constant pain, gastro intestinal issues, cancers, tumors, crohn’s, hiv, etc, and many other debilitating illnesses were many believe pharmaceuticals are the only way. When there's actually safer alternatives that do not wreck your body. Thank you for making this process less complicated, and for being so kind throughout this whole ordeal.
