BASA Collective on 1326 Grove St

Unfortunately I showed up to Cali on the day the govt decided everything needed to be lab tested, so they had a little less than normal to choose from. I wasn't a fan of not really being able to smell or look at the products. You kind of just go up to a window and order off a menu. But regardless I got some Afghan nova. This is a cool lil spot in a busy area. I'll probably be back.

Hidden gem! The cozy space carries a wide and changing menu. The funky and eclectict staff have a knack for figuring out exactly what you need. My only complaint is that the menu isn't always up to date and the ATM is often out of cash.

Bad cartridge, no exchange offered. Bought ABX cartridge, it didn't work properly, was denied an exchange. Been coming to BASA for two years as I live in the neighborhood. Bought a $45 ABX cartridge for them as I have for the last 2 years, but this one did not work. Go into return 5mins after purchase, tried on a different pen (an in-store return, it worked to about 10% capacity). They said it works so no return. Technically they are right. But if I bought a tank of gas and my car only can go 10mph with it (when it always goes 60mph otherwise) then there is a performance issue with the product. BASA is choosing not to acknowledge this, i'm out $45, and I am back to where I started. They have the ability to hold their suppliers accountable, I don't. Also, I asked if I could buy a different vape pen (that might work), they were out. So no solution to my issue offered. They do have inventory issues - usually they have 50% of what I want in-stock. I won't be returning to BASA after this and now go through an dispensary that deliveries and has a clear return policy for products that don't work.

This used to be my go to dispensary because they were close, convenient and had pretty good prices, but today they sold me a defective product and refused to do anything about it, and I've been going to this place since 2015! I didn't even wan't my money back, just a different pack of the same thing I had bought, and I was told they would all just be the same. I asked to see the other ones, but they said no to that too. I will never go back to this place.

What is a Cannabis Dispensary?

A cannabis dispensary is a retail store which sells cannabis products and accessories. Since the early 1990's, cannabis dispensaries have existed in the United States. The first dispensary was opened in California, and since then, the nation has been progressing towards cannabis reform. Now, there are thousands of cannabis dispensaries, and more on the way as laws in the United States change towards legalizing medical and recreational cannabis.

Most dispensaries carry a variety of different kinds of flowers and buds. The flowers will range from sativa to hybrids of all sorts to indicas, and depending on state, test results letting you know the percentages of THC, cannabinoids and terpenoids as well as ensuring the quality of the flowers. In addition, dispensaries carry a variety of other cannabis products such as prefilled vape cartridges, concentrates such as waxes and oils, as well as a multitude of other cannabis products like lotions and tinctures.
